Getting intentional about educating developers

Many developer relations teams create educational content as part of their strategies. That often takes the shape of blog posts, tutorials, or the infamous 5-minute demo.

In this practice-led talk, we will investigate training programs, and how they can provide higher engagement, and higher returns, than the dev rel content farm. We will view training through the lens of developer marketing programs at GitHub, discussing how GitHub designed, built, and scaled a training program that builds MVPs through developer education.

This talk is ideally suited for the developer content creator tired of chasing page views, or the MVP program manager struggling with leveraging intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation.
